Electrical Safety Test Record Sheet

Log an electrical safety test against the limits from your facility procedure or the service manual. Print it, export CSV, or keep a history in this browser.

Record-keeping aid only. Use the limits and procedures in your facility's HTM program and the manufacturer's service manual. Not a substitute for training, AAMI/NFPA/IEC standards, or employer procedures. Never test patient-connected equipment outside your organization's policy.

This sheet has no built-in limits. Enter each pass limit from your facility's procedure or the manufacturer's service manual, then enter what your analyzer measured. The sheet marks each line pass or fail against your limit and lets you print, export or save the record.

Class II devices skip protective earth resistance. A device with no applied part skips applied part leakage.

Standards

We don't reproduce standard limits here. Your facility's procedure and the manufacturer's service manual control. For the published standard on recurrent testing of medical electrical equipment, see IEC 62353 (IEC webstore).

FDA lookups: find a device type's product code and class in the FDA device classification lookup, then check its FDA recall records.
