Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you buy: your name, email address, and order details. We use them to deliver your license, provide support, keep business and tax records, and contact you about your purchase.
Payment: Stripe processes your card, and we never receive your full card number. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
When you email us: whatever you include in your message.

When you visit our website

Contact form: when you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message. The form is handled by our website's server functions, and we use what you send only to answer you.
Server logs: like most websites, our web host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address and browser type.
Cookies: we don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
Checkout: when you buy, you pay on Stripe's checkout page. Stripe runs its own fraud checks there under its privacy policy.
Do Not Track: our site doesn't respond to Do Not Track signals. We don't allow third parties to track you across other websites.

The software

CallMinder may contact unitedtechs.com at startup for update and serial-validity checks as described in the License Agreement. Only serial and version are sent. A 30-day offline grace applies. UnitedTechs does not push a mid-session shutdown; invalid serials are enforced at the next successful startup check (or when offline grace ends). Settings, your license acceptance record, and a computer-derived installation ID stay on your computer.

If you get a refund, your license ends when the refund is issued and you agree to delete the software.

We send marketing email only to people who opt in. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link in every email.

What we don't do

We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, such as payment processing, email delivery, and web hosting, or when the law requires it. If the business is sold or merged, customer information may transfer to the new owner, who must honor this policy.

Children

Our site and products aren't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you're under 13, a parent must buy for you.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards and will notify you as required by law if your information is involved in a breach.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information by writing to us through our contact form. We keep purchase records as long as tax law requires.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date. If the change is material, we'll also email buyers.
